About Us
Who are we and what do we do?
Contesting
We are an ambitious 2nd section contesting band based in Coalville, Leicestershire. We do the important area contest in February/March, along with 2 -3 other contests through the year.
Concerts
We also perform concerts throughout the summer in the local area such as Coalville Park, Ibstock Palace, Mount Sorrel and Melton Park.
We perform in Coalville at the 11th November Armistice Day.
The christmas season is a great time to see us perform! We play christmas carols at various co-op stores around the Coalville and Ibstock area, along with other venues such as Markfield Retirement village. We also put on a Christmas concert at Ibstock Palace.

Get Involved!
We are always looking for new players for our Training band and the main band to help us make our vision a reality. We'll help you find a way to join and play a musical instrument with us, that best suits you.
Training band: all welcome, age from 6 -99! Adult beginner? Out of practice? Haven't played for a few years? Does your child want to take up an instrument? Contact our band manager, Steve Barham for further information
Senior band Vacancies: We are in need of a bass trombone, 2 cornet players (position negotiable - there is a vacancy on front and back row) and tuned percussion. If you can offer either of these, we would love to hear from you! Please join us for a rehearsal or two, if you'd like to try us out. Contact Steve Barham if you are interested.
